How to participate
Got an instant photo ready for the public? In order to take part in Instant Day:
Step 1
Take a photo of your instant with your smartphone (or scan it for max. quality) - the file should be between 2 - 10 MB, in jpg/jpeg or webp format.
Step 2
Upload your photo and credentials on the "share" page.

Step 3
Agree to our terms and conditions. The short version: Participants have to be 18+, portrayed persons must have given consent, and you agree that your instant can be exhibited and used to promote the photo contest.
Step 4
You can make up to 5 submissions - go through step 1-3 for each submission;-)

Why instant photography?
Instant Photography is a testament to life: It all started back in the 1940’s with a 3 year old kid. She wanted to see her fathers images right away. The father, Edwin Land, embarked on a mission: To invent instant photography. Half a decade later, Edwin Land launched Instant photography and established the Polaroid brand. Instant photography turned into big business in the 70’s and 80’s, until the digital era almost killed the industry. The massive amount of time wasted on the small screens have spurred a counterreaction: Analogue, off-line experiences have become popular again. And instant photography is just that: An analogue, life-affirming and tactile photography experience. So let’s celebrate life, and make memories:-)
